Educators are responsible for maintaining current, appropriate credentials.

Credentials Renewal: Credentials may be renewed up to 1 year in advance of expiration. Educators may not work without current credential authorization. A pay hold may result if a credential is not renewed prior to expiration. Educators are encouraged to renew early.  

Request to Change Name on Credential (Remember to also report name changes to STRS)

Credential Authorization for Electives:

COA - 1A - Initial Application for Committee on Assignments approval

COA - 1B - Application for Renewal of Committee on Assignments approval

Teacher Consent - required for any teaching assignment not authorized by the teacher's credential
